How to Request Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your Rasik Bandhan account in two ways:
- Send an email to support@rasikbandhan.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include your registered phone number in the message body.
- Go to Settings → Delete Account inside the Rasik Bandhan app and submit a deletion request directly.
Verification: For security, we will verify your identity before processing the request. Once verified, your account will be permanently deleted within 7 days.
✉ Email Us to Delete Account
In-app option: Open the app → Profile tab → Settings (⚙) → scroll to the bottom → tap "Delete Account" → follow the on-screen steps.
What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon confirmation, the following data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted:
- ✅Your account and login credentials (phone number association)
- ✅Profile information — name, age, bio, caste, profession, and all registration details
- ✅Profile photos uploaded to your account
- ✅All sent and received interest requests
- ✅Chat messages and conversation history
- ✅Block and report records associated with your account
- ✅Push notification tokens and device information
What Data May Be Retained
In limited circumstances, certain data may be retained for a period of time after deletion:
- ℹ️Reports you filed: If you reported another user for abuse or misconduct, that report record may be retained for safety and enforcement purposes, but will be anonymised.
- ℹ️Billing records: If you made a subscription purchase through Google Play, transaction records are retained by Google Play and may be retained by us for up to 90 days for financial compliance.
- ℹ️Legal obligations: We may retain certain data if required by applicable law, regulation, or a valid legal request.
All retained data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Deletion Timeline
- 📬Within 24 hours: You will receive a confirmation email once your request is received and verified.
- 🔒Immediately: Your profile will be hidden from other users as soon as deletion is initiated.
- 🗑️Within 7 days: All your data will be permanently deleted from our systems.
